Nose: A slightly restrained fruity note in this youthful Loch Lomond, but that is far from the end of the story. It’s floral which is unexpected for a Loch Lomond. Violets, I think. Slightly charred oakines
Palate: Fragrant, warming, full-bodied, which is unashamedly bold. A very dry Bourbon twang proving that not every Bourbon is sweet vanilla. Soft fruit, toasted nuts, cinnamon and grilled banana.
Finish: A medium finish at first but as it phases out suddenly here is a resurgence. This is going to take a while!
