Nose: Coastal and complex, with notes of sea breeze and wet stones, followed by hints of tropical fruit, tobacco, and aged oloroso wood, all in a refined and balanced profile without excessive sweetness.
Palate: Silky, full, peaches, grilled pineapple, sea salt and coffee beans adding a lightly roasted bitterness. Sherry brings nutty depth and structure, while a gentle layer of Longrow smoke runs throughout.
Finish: Soft and long, with campfire smoke and toasted marshmallows, followed by a savory hint of mortadella. The finish reveals notes of molasses, with a warm, slightly drying sherry grip that lingers on.

Longrow represents the peated side of Springbank, distilled at Springbank Distillery, and this 23-year-old edition shows just how beautifully smoke and sherry can come together when given time. The whisky was matured entirely in Oloroso sherry hogsheads and bottled at 43.7%, resulting in a profile that is elegant and layered rather than forceful.
Although Cadenhead and Springbank belong to the same group, this is considered a typical Cadenhead bottling: maritime, idiosyncratic, and full of character. Expect notes of rock pools, tropical fruit, and cigar boxes, followed by grilled pineapple, sea salt, and coffee, with a gentle campfire finish where smoke and sweetness are perfectly intertwined.
