Hampden Great House - Distillery Edition - Bottled 2025 - 57.0% abv.
Founded in 1753 in the heart of Trelawny, Hampden Estate remains a benchmark for artisanal Jamaican rum. The "Great House", built in 1779 by the Stirling family, bears witness to this heritage: its first floor was used for a long time to store barrels leaving for the port, until thetwentieth century.
Hampden Estate - The Great House Release 2025 is the seventh installment in an exclusive series that began in 2019. Made from several marks of different vintages, the cuvée reflects the house style: long fermentations, distillation in an iron still and ageing in barrels in a tropical climate within the distillery (a practice that has been systematized since 2010). This blend highlights a rum of character, with the intensity and complexity emblematic of this terroir. A spirit designed for enlightened amateurs, attached to authenticity, to the expression of Jamaican rum and to the know-how of a historic distillery.
