With FRESH, Hampden Estate introduces a white Jamaican rum that showcases the signature character of the Trelawny distillery and was developed with mixology in mind.
The name FRESH refers directly to the term used at the distillery for years to describe the distillate as it comes off the still. Hampden now applies this historic term to this white rum, bottled at 42% ABV.
FRESH is a blend of various Hampden marks. It is produced in Trelawny using the methods for which the distillery is renowned: slow, natural fermentation with wild yeasts and traditional distillation.
With FRESH, Hampden aims to offer a new way to use white rum behind the bar. It is suitable for reimagining classic cocktails as well as creating signature cocktails that go beyond the tropical style traditionally associated with rum.
