This second iteration of the Heritage Barley Release continues to showcase how Golden Promise barley accentuates the oily, viscous distillate that Ardnamurchan has become known for.
This time, they’ve taken it one step further, maturing 100% Golden Promise distillate in both ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. The two cask types have been bottled separately, giving you the opportunity to taste and compare the exact same distillate matured in two very different cask types.

Nose: Brandy-soaked cherry, blackberry schnapps, spearmint, gingerbread, blueberry pie.
Flavour: Dried ginger, fresh leather, cardamom, toffee, pancakes doused in maple syrup, pumpernickel.
