Nose: A sumptous nose. Bakewell tart springs to mind. Gentle almond, butter pastry and that hint of raspberry jam, lychee and white pepper…. perfect.
Palate: ...and we are not being lied to by the nose. Sumptuous was the right word, fresh baked treat, loads of yellow fruit, fresh and dried, almond, yellow pear and white pepper.
Finish: A medium length finish as all the flavour we have just enjoyed come together in a mellow curtain call. Fabulous!
