It is definitely one of the more recogniseable malts. This bottling surely proves why Deanston is considered one of the waxy distilleries. With plenty of fruits and creaminess to balance the whisky, this was right up our alley. Some polish shines through for that little extra layer in a finish that is amplified further by the waxy texture. To us, this showcases perfectly why we’ve always loved Deanston as a distillery.
