More than three decades of aging for this bottling—distilled during a time of great uncertainty in the whisky industry—has resulted in a flavor profile full of mature oak, rich smoke, and vibrant tropical fruit.
This single malt whisky, from an undisclosed distillery, was distilled in 1985. Its name refers to the pseudonym of William Sharp, who wrote traditional Hebridean stories in the 19th century. Aged Islay whisky is becoming increasingly rare nowadays and this whisky captures the magic of Islay.
