As TWJ says: Almost too good to be true, we got our hands on a cask of Balven (sssht..). This distillery is one of the hallmarks of the Speyside region and we are very happy to show its distinct flavour profile in this (almost) 36 year old whisky. This is truly old school whisky. A delicate layer of dried fruits provide a stunning onset, followed by notes you’ll only ever get with age. Leather, wood varnish, tea, and cloves play a perfect ensemble in this honied Speyside classic. An absolute no brainer at this price!
