Nose: Milk chocolate digestive biscuits. Glacé cherries, lime cordial, a soft dusting of icing sugar on marzipan, apricot jam. Melted butter with acacia honey on sourdough toast. Salted lemons and grassy.
Palate: Chewable, oily mouthfeel. The marzipan theme continues, sugared almonds. More nuts, salted cashews, subtle pistachios. A gentle, creamy sweetness. Rich orange polenta cake. Baked cooking apples.
Finish: Oily, luscious and well-balanced. Medium length.Traces of soft orchard fruit, a sweet nuttiness and the last sip of espresso.
