Geur: An intriguing combination of malt extract & wine-soaked oak. It’s a joy to simply smell it!
Smaak: It’s truly unique and most drinkable. The wine overture creates the perfect partner for the peat-dried malted barley flavour.
Afdronk: At this age and strength, however, it tastes wonderful with the addition of some water. The peat works well with the French oak & the Islay DNA frames it beautifully.

Our fourth release from the “Red Bag” distillery by happenstance is four years old, and a sister cask to the very well received ‘Peerie Craetir’ we released as our final bottling in the old Dramfool livery in 2023. Bottled at full cask strength, the barrique gave a generous 282 bottles, but if the pace of sales last time is any measure, it won’t hang around for long!
Again, aged in a wine barrique, it has that real Islay smoke and clean spirit we love from this distillery, but don’t take our word for it;
