Ardnahoe Bholsa Islay Single Malt [Official Bottling] Ex-Bourbon & Ex-Oloroso Sherry Cask Matured - 50.0% abv.
Bholsa is named after the impressive "Bholsa" caves located near the distillery. This bottling features a high proportion of over 60% sherry cask maturation and offers rich aromas of peaty raisins soaked in Oloroso sherry. As always, Bholsa is offered without chill filtration and in its natural color at 50% ABV.
Red fruits, walnuts, orange zest and peat smoke on the nose. Raisins, dates and ripe plums on the palate underpinned by Islay peat lead into a long, peppery finish.
