This remarkable rum comes from Mauritius and was distilled by the Distillerie de Labourdonnais, who only rarely release their rums through independent bottlers, and few times with their own name mentioned on the label.

In this case however, the people behind the Distillerie de Labourdonnais were so impressed by The Duchess’ methods, that exclusive permission was granted to them for the use of the distillery’s own name on the label.
