This additional cask influence adds depth and maturity, creating a profile that blends Islay smoke with red and dark fruits, vanilla, butterscotch, salted caramel, black cherry, ripe plum, and dark chocolate.
The long, warming finish evolves into notes of baking spices and a dry, lingering peat smoke.
