Nose: Features phenolic notes, peat smoke, wood ash, and maritime scents of rock pools and oyster shells. The aroma becomes drier, and water significantly reduces its intensity.
Palate: Offers a smooth, oily texture with a bold taste combining sweetness from dried fruit (raisins, figs, dates), savory spice, and salt, along with strong peat smoke. Water makes it smoother and sweeter.
Finish: Long, drying, and lightly smoky, with lasting salt and peat. Adding water brings out a fine chilli pepper spice.
