Nose: Fresh, vibrant notes of apples and lemon, almonds and hard candy, hints of unripe strawberries with a touch of whipped cream, all wrapped in a lightly smoky, mineral, and maritime character
Palate: Wonderfully oily, an immediate burst of spice (white pepper, liquorice), the fruit returns beautifully, layered with honey, a touch of salinity, gentle smoke. A superb balance between fruit and smoke
Finish: A beautifully long finish — mineral, maritime and gently smoky, while still allowing the fruit and honey to shine through
