Nose: A subtle nose greets you without the punchy, heavy peat smoke of other fine Islay drams. As the dram breaths more of that warm, gentle peat smoke starts to show, wrapping itself around you.
Palate: The perfect marriage of peat and sweet run wild as the fruity sherry mixes seamlessly with the soft peat smoke of a classic Caol Ila.
Finish: Finish seems to be the wrong term here as quite simply it shows no sign of “finishing”. An incredibly long finish allows you to continue enjoying this special dram.
