The Meikle Tòir – The Chinquapin One is a peated Single Malt, carefully crafted and matured in new Chinquapin oak casks from the Northern Ozarks, USA. This whisky presents notes of soft spices and roasted nuts, harmoniously balanced with a gentler smoky peat character derived from mainland St. Fergus peat. With an extended fermentation of 160 hours and a smoke level of 35 PPM, this single malt reveals a complexity that pairs perfectly with maturation in new oak casks.
