The whisky is crafted entirely on site. That means the ingredients are grown at Lochlea, and the spirit is distilled and matured at the distillery.
A total of seven first-fill bourbon casks were used. All of these casks were filled in 2018 and then matured for seven years. McCormick and his team hand-selected the casks. The result is a complex, richly layered whisky.
