Words of LDB - Refill bourbon barrel matured Bowmore, certainly one of our favourite Islay distilleries (ok we admit it, we love them all).
We were pulling cask samples recently in the warehouse, this particular cask had a very unique character, one so unique we marked it with a (very rough) sketch of a roast chicken.
We’re not going to win any art prizes any time soon, but yeah, chicken cask, more specifically roast chicken flavoured crisps. Which explains why the label artwork is a crisp packet.
