De Chamarel- distilleerderij is gelegen op het eiland Mauritius. Opgericht in 2008 door de familie Couacaud. De rum wordt geproduceerd op basis van puur suikerrietsap. Het suikerriet groeit op hun eigen plantages, wordt met de hand ge-oogst, natuurlijk gefermenteerd en gedistilleerd in de Chamarel distillatieketels.
