Moscato Bianco is an aromatic grape variety whose name derives from "muscum" (moss). The Greeks cultivated these grapes and exported them to the colonies of Magna Graecia in southern Italy. This grape variety spread northward in the Middle Ages, primarily thanks to the Venetians and their trade with the Mediterranean islands. With an explosive yet elegant bouquet, Petalo Vino dell'Amore Moscato Bottega is characterized by a sweetness that isn't cloying, a moderate alcohol content, and a distinctive rose aroma that evokes the image of rose petals printed on the label.
Color and Appearance: Straw yellow, with fine and persistent perlage.
Nose: On the nose it is broad, intense and at the same time delicate, with floral notes of rose, wisteria and wild flowers, with fruity notes of yellow peach, apricot and citrus and a pleasant hint of sage on the finish.
Taste: Fragrant, velvety and pleasantly sweet, it is characterised on the palate by an intense and persistent aroma that recalls the olfactory notes and has good acidity capable of conferring freshness and supporting the high residual sugar.
