Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 3 (2025) Oloroso Sherry & Ex Islay Peated Cask 59.8 "OB"

Batch 3 of our annual Cask Strength release offers yet another bold and distinctive take on Lochlea. Our Master Blender has carefully selected a combination of Oloroso Sherry Butts and Ex-Islay Peated Casks, creating a whisky that balances richness and depth with a surprising twist of smoke.

The nose opens with juicy, ripe red fruits, and savoury BBQ smoke. On the palate, cherries, ripe berries, and dark molasses are lifted by warming ginger cake, toasted rye, and charred wood smoke. The finish is long and complex, with baking spice, salty smoke, and oaky tannins intertwining with delicate floral notes of red roses.

PRE-ORDER TERMS & CONDITIONS

Pre-orders refer to orders placed for products that are not yet available in Tensu’s own warehouse but are offered by our suppliers. By offering pre-orders, Tensu enables customers to reserve limited and/or restricted bottlings prior to their official release.

Upon availability and receipt of full payment, Tensu will proceed with the collection or delivery of the pre-ordered product. Full payment is required at the time of placing a pre-order. Once payment has been completed, pre-orders are non-cancellable, unless a waiting list exists and the reservation can be successfully resold.

Pre-order payments do not constitute a guarantee of product availability but represent the customer’s commitment to purchase the product once it becomes commercially available. Release dates are subject to change and may be modified by the supplier. Tensu cannot be held liable for any changes to announced release dates.

In the event that available supply is insufficient to fulfil all pre-orders, orders will be processed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers whose pre-orders cannot be fulfilled will receive a full refund of the purchase price.
