Zaya Gran Reserva is a premium dark rum with a distinctly smooth, sweet and approachable profile. The brand was originally known as a Guatemalan sipping rum, but is now produced in Trinidad & Tobago.
Originally produced in Guatemala by Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala, the same group behind Zacapa and Botran.
Around 2008, production moved to Trinidad & Tobago, where the rum is now produced through Trinidad Distillers Limited (Angostura).
The current style still aims to preserve the original “Guatemalan-style” profile: rich, sweet and dessert-driven.
