Torv 2.5 was handcrafted using organic Prospect & Evergreen barley harvested from our fields Kvolbak & Gejlund harvested in 2020 & 2021. Double distilled in direct fired copper pot stills. Matured in Ex-Bourbon & Ex-Sherry Casks. Bottled in August 2026.

TØRV
The name says it all.
TØRV is a whisky made from malt smoked with peat. We use Danish bog peat to smoke our malt. The peat comes from our friends, Tørvebisserne, based in Moseby in Northern Jutland.
Jutland bog peat is truly unique. It consists of a very distinctive composition of plant matter. While our choice of peat for smoking the malt is traditional in a sense, our peated whisky stands in a class of its own precisely because of this specific type of peat.
TØRV can be matured in a wide variety of casks, and the series will feature many different bottlings. The common denominator of the TØRV series is, of course, that peat has been used to smoke the malt.
With TØRV we have peat smoked the malt with the good peat from our friends in the peat guild in Moseby. From Moseby comes the elegant peat that characterizes our TØRV series. The peat gives the whisky a lovely smoky touch, which has both sweet and floral notes.
The barrels that have matured PÖRV 2.5 are both bourbon, oloroso and Pedro Ximènez sherry barrels.
PIE 2.5 has an elegant smoke that will appeal to both the hardcore Islay fan and the new and curious whisky enthusiast. The sweetness from the Oloroso and Pedro Ximènez casks balances the smoke and creates a deep and complex profile. This batch also includes a touch of 5-year-old whisky, which adds extra roundness to the profile. Batch 2.5 consists of only 850 bottles.
We have full traceability from the individual bottle to the field from which we harvested our barley.
