Genesteld in de Lluidas Vallei nabij de parochie van St. Catherine, ver van de witte zandstranden en palmbomen, ligt Worthy Park Distillery. Worthy Park produceert sinds 1740 met tussenpozen rum. Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog was er een overaanbod van Jamaicaanse rum. Zo werd in 1962 met de Spirits Pool Association of Jamaica de productie stopgezet.
Na tientallen jaren zonder distillatie te hebben gewerkt, besloot de familie Clarke in 2004 dat er ruimte was voor nog een Jamaicaanse rum. Hun doel, om het te maken met hoogwaardige ingrediënten in een perfect contrast door te distilleren in de traditionele Jamaicaanse Pot-Still-methode. In 2005 was de nieuwste distilleerderij compleet. In 2007 werd het vlaggenschipmerk Rum-Bar Rum gelanceerd en heeft het de Jamaicaanse rumindustrie voor altijd veranderd. Deze botteling is een exclusieve rum voor The Nectar (België). Vintage 2013, 4 jaar gerijpt op ex-bourbonvaten in Jamaica, waarna de rum nog 2 jaar de tijd kreeg om verder te rijpen in nieuwe Amerikaanse eiken vaten.
