This whisky embodies the unmistakable coastal style of Caol Ila – smoky, salty, and vibrant, yet refined and perfectly balanced. After twelve years of maturation, the whisky has gained in smoothness without losing its maritime intensity and energy.

Nose: Smoky and maritime, with aromas of seaweed, wet kelp, and a true Islay sea breeze. Delicate notes of lemon and lime, damp rope, white pepper, and a touch of coastal minerality.

Palate: Full, oily, and complex, showing powerful peat smoke, salty maritime tones, and a clear interplay of smoke and ocean influence. Notes of salted caramel, smouldering peat, and gentle oak add depth.

Finish: Long, dry, and smoky, with iodine, ash, oak, sea salt, and a lingering smoky aftertaste. Subtle hints of citrus/lime and soft, briny mineral notes carry through to the end.
