Signatory is opgericht in 1988 door Andrew en Brian Symington en is één van Schotlands grootste onafhankelijke bottelaars. Ze bezitten net als Gordon & MacPhail zelf één distilleerderij in Schotland met name Edradour, welke ze overkochten van Pernod Ricard in 2002.
