History of the distillery
Official Tasting Notes
Color: Old Gold, Copper Highlights.
Aroma: Rich, smooth. Subtly peppery and candied (marmalade), the aromatic palette gradually takes on tertiary tones of great maturity (fig, marzipan, toasted walnut). Increasingly oxidative (currant) and empyreumatic (burnt cane, incense), it gradually takes on honeyed (geranium) and heady (iris concrete) accents that are literally captivating.
Taste: Both lively and creamy. Marked with pronounced flavors of macerated fruit (mango, guava), diesel, and candied ginger, the taste palette differs completely from the nose. Powdery (cocoa), milky (almond), and oily, it reveals a very delicate texture. Gradually, cinnamon powder falls like rain on the palate.
Finish: Silky, tannic. Cane sugar flavored with iris concretely inaugurates a very concentrated finish. In turn powdery (cocoa, ginger), fruity (mango), floral (reseda, carnation), and licorice, the retro-olfaction offers a successful synthesis of the nose and palate. Later, the empty glass emphasizes the medicinal and terpenic character of this Hampden.
Order now in pre-order!
Pre-orders are orders for products that are not yet available in our own warehouse but are already offered by our suppliers. By enabling pre-orders, Tensu gives you the opportunity to reserve limited and/or restricted bottlings before the official sale has started.
Once the pre-ordered product is in stock and paid for, Tensu will proceed with collection/delivery of the product. When placing a pre-order, you must pay the full price of the product in advance. After payment, you can no longer cancel your pre-order unless there is a waiting list and the pre-order can be sold on.
Pre-order payments do not guarantee product availability but represent your offer to purchase the product once it is made generally available. Release dates may change. As a result, we cannot be held liable for any changes in release dates communicated by Tensu.
If there is a shortage in deliveries compared to the number of pre-orders placed, the principle of "first-come, first-served" applies. Customers whose pre-order cannot be fulfilled will have their purchase amount refunded.
