Marolo Barolo 14 Yerars Old -Mizunara- [Official Bottling] Distilled 2010 - Bottled 2025 - Matured in mostly European Oak Marsala for 11 Years & 3 Years in Mizunara Casks - 48.0% abv.
Grappa di Barolo 2010 “Mizunara” is an exceptional bottling from Marolo, crafted from Nebbiolo grapes of the outstanding 2010 vintage. After 11 years of maturation in European oak casks—mostly former Marsala barrels—it spent an additional 3 years in rare Japanese Mizunara oak. This unique combination of wood types gives the grappa its distinctive character: fruity and spicy notes from the European oak are refined by the aromatic qualities of Mizunara, with hints of sandalwood, incense, coconut, and exotic spices.
The result is a deep amber-coloured, rich and warm grappa. Each bottle is individually numbered and features a special label by the Japanese artist Hakuyu Watanabe - a visual representation of the fusion between European tradition and Japanese refinement.

Finish: Long and lingering, with a sustained balsamic lift and subtle echoes of dried fruit and citrus peel.
