Produced on Mahé, the beating heart of the Seychelles. Takamaka Kreol Cask is a blend of both pot still and column still molasses rums. The spirit was first infused with French oak, then pressed through ex-Bourbon wood and French oak. It was subsequently blended with 8-year-old rum from Foursquare Distillery in Barbados. The final blend was finished for 60 days in ex-sugarcane juice rum casks.
The result is a spicy, wood-forward rum with depth, balance, and a pleasantly rounded finish. It is crafted for both pure tasting enthusiasts and bartenders seeking a rounded, balanced, and complex profile for their creations.
