Nose: Subtle, yet with unmistakably Bourbon sweetness, delicate vanilla, creme anglaise, supplemented a fruity pear crumble.
Palate: Slightly drier on the palate than the nose, but clearly pronounced solid notes of vanilla, white wine poached and cinnamon drizzled pear crumble and other layers of fruit.
Finish: The first show of any spice as that classic white pepper so associated with white American oak dances on the sides of the tongue and lingering exotic yellow fruit notes.
