This ultra-premium Anniversary Edition celebrates 40 years of the legendary Nikka From the Barrel. For the occasion, Nikka’s Master Blender has created a special cuvée that underwent a maturation (“marriage”) period twice as long as the original, resulting in a blend of rare complexity and harmony.

So it is a combination of Yoichi single malts (powerful and smoky) and Miyagikyo single malts (refined and fruity), married with grain whiskies distilled in the legendary Coffey stills.

It has a remarkable aromatic depth: A rich and profound profile, with waxy, fruity, spicy, and malty notes, enhanced by a distinctive mineral touch.

TASTING NOTES:
Nose: Beeswax, iris, roasted pineapple, nutmeg, ginger.
Palate: Lively and complex. Medicinal, smoky, with lemon zest, honey, cocoa, and candied fruits.
