1770 Peated is een single malt whisky van de Glasgow Distillery te Schotland. Zoals je waarschijnlijk uit de naam kunt afleiden, is dit een geturfde expressie, specifiek gemaakt met heide-rijk veen uit de hooglanden. Na destillatie werd de whisky gerijpt in first fill ex-sherryvaten en gefinished op nieuw eikenhout (terwijl de ongeturfde 1770 whisky wordt gerijpt in bourbonvaten en gefinished in virgin eikenhouten vaten).
